How to Submit Your Blog to the Search Engines

Getting your blog noticed by the three major search engines is the first step to get "same day" spidering, and very quick indexing of your blog pages.

Submitting your blog to the search engines is very similar to submitting your website, but you should be aware of several differences. Knowing these differences can help you get your blog indexed (and spidered) more quickly.

NOTE - this may seem a little overwhelming the first time you read it through, but most of what follows only has to be done once and I'll give you "shortcuts" for the repetitive tasks.

You'll need an account to submit to Yahoo or Google, but the account is free...

Changes Coming ...

Switch to aweber.com
I recently started using aweber for delivering a short course from one of my niche marketing sites, and I think I'm getting higher delivery rates from them.

Aweber also allows me to track open rates, and to track the click thru's from my mailings, so this I am in the process of setting up this newsletter on aweber as well.

You should receive an opt-in confirmation request once I upload a list of my subscribers.  You'll have the option of confirming your subscription - or just ignoring the request.

Be sure to confirm - or you may miss the next issue (and you don't want to to that).
